Hi! My name is Gabriel Macedo and I'm 2 1/2 years old. My mom is writing this for me. TLK is one of my favorite movies. I have seen it hundreds of time and know whole scenes by heart. I know that SCAR is the bad guy and I like Simba and Rafiki the best. I also like all the songs and listen to them in my mom's car almost every day.

When that sunrise comes up in that very first scene of The Lion King and the African music starts, exciting chills run up and down my spine. I cannot put into words my passion for The Lion King. I've seen this magnificent film over twenty times. I am encouraged to see that there are so many others, young and old, who see as I do the extraordinary brilliance in this Disney masterpiece. I love to hear from my fellow fans. Drop me a line. With the Love of a Lion, Andy

Greetings. I took my kids to see TLK about a year ago at the theater; later we bought the video. For a while my 2 year old daughter was watching every day, often 2 or 3 times. My older sons had done this at that age with other tapes until my wife and I got sick of them, but I didn't get tired of TLK; instead I was getting drawn in to watch it with her. I have to be careful not to watch it too often lest its minor flaws become too irritating, but I still notice things I hadn't noticed before. Last time it was studying the expressions on the characters faces to see how well their emotions are expressed. Remember...

I think that the Lion King is a fabulously stunning film, artistically and in a Disney-esqe like way. I enjoyed this film extremely much, especially since I love the art form ( I am a student of animation and art) and I love all Disney movies, and I hope people continue to enjoy these films for years and decades, centuries to come.

The Lion King is one of the best movies Walt Disney has ever made. When it first came out I thought it would be a flop. I mean who cares about animals that are talking. The Lion King is full of action and great songs. Having Elton John perform the songs was a great plus. I'm personally adicted to the Movie. I have all the animals, posters, and room accesories. Thank you Walt Disney for yet another classic.

Merry Christmas to one and all!
1995 has shown that TLK is not fading from sight like so many other movies have within months of their release. Fans still collect as much merchandise as they can get their paws on, and alt.fan.lion-king is as active as ever. Now, with 1996 upon us, we will see what will happen to this, the movie that has done so much for all of us-- whether it will harden into a permanent fixture in movie and human history, or whether it will finally succumb to anonymity and fade away. Personally, I am optimistic that the new year will prove anew that in The Lion King we have another movie which will stand the test of time and be as much of a beloved icon for many of us as Star Trek or Monty Python. A good old quote is in order here:
Long live The King!
With fans like the ones who have all signed here, it will never die.
Sincerely, Brian Tiemann

I AM THE WORLD'S GREATEST LION KING FAN. I ADMIT THAT IT IS PRETTY STRANGE FOR A 23 YEAR-OLD TO GO GA-GA OVER A CARTOON. bUT THEN AGAIN, WHY NOT? IF PEOPLE, YOUNG AND OLD CAN BE A MICKEY MOUSE FAN, WHY CAN'T I BE A LION KING FAN? I ADORE THE MOVIE! I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE CHARACTERS OF RAFIKI AND PUMBA. RAFIKI IS SO FUNNY AND SUPER SMART. PUMBA IS SO KIND AND INNOCENT. IF THERE'S ANYONE OUT THERE WHO IS A KID AT HEART LIKE I AM, AND LOVE THE LION KING JUST AS MUCH AS I DO, DON'T HESITATE TO DROP ME A LINE. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM MY FELLOW FANS!

Brian and Jennifer,
Ever since I travelled to this home page, I find myself coming back here from time to time. It is an impressive site, Brian. Don't give it up. TLK has touched a lot of different people, and it means a lot of different things to each one of us. But in the end, it's the movie that we all enjoy, and what ths storyline and the characters can bring to us on a personal, emotional, and pleasurable level. Thanks for giving us your Web Page, Brian. You deserve it.

Howdy All. It's me again.
To Brian, I seroiusly do not know why you let people like 'neil' to write messages in your guest book if all he is going to do is bad-mouth The Lion King. I'm sure he has made himself some very powerful enemies by now.
Maintainer's note: Censorship isn't my thing... it's a valid opinion, and while I'll delete posts that have profanity or are otherwise totally inappropriate, I'm not going to delete them because of the opinion expressed. -BT
To Amelia (amelia@p24818.cle.ab.com), I'll make sure to tell my friends and get them to write you some letters as well.
To anyone else who likes TLK and are looking for pen pals, I have two very eager friends in Australia by the names of Alice and Anna and I can tell you that they would love to have mail from people.
Is the rumor about a second Lion King true? Neat!
If someone was to start their own Lion King page, how would one go about doing it? I'm going to see if I can. Ps. My Email address has changed, so anyone writing to Anna Booth, Alice Eckerman, Mandy Horner and Emma Hill (their entries are in the earlier lists of the Guest Book), then you should write to them through: viscount@merlin.net.au
Thanks.
Keep it up Brian, and kindly send me another address for a newsgroup in which I can enroll my friends. The last one didn't exist.

***Rumor Section*** Q: What's this I hear about a new version of TLW? A: I'm going to be re-writing "The Longest Walk". The new version will include new material, a new format(since I'm learning more HTML), and pictures galore. This will be the final version. Any and all outtakes that survived my hard drive crashing will be included. Parts that didn't survive will be re-typed as best as I can remember, although some parts sadly, have been totally destroyed.
