This is probably the best movie that I have ever seen. I am moved by the story and the majesty of The Lion King.I always adore the movie and Iam the biggest fan.The best charecters I like are without any doubt Simba and Nala.

Thanks for keeping the site up for so long^^ I only joined recently but am amazed that there existed a whole huge tlk fandom which is still active. I hope this site goes on well in the future and Brian Tiemann doesn't get sick of TLK ^^;; oh.... and TLK just rocks!!! even at the age 20 the movie moved me deeply and was quite fun too. The jokes weren't out of date in my opinion... quality is also near to the animations that come out nowadays. anyways... long live TLK ^^! and cheers to Brian^^

I recently saw the play, "The Lion King" and I was mesmerized by it...the music, the puppetry, the scenic designs, the actors....that elephant!!!!
What a sight to hear and behold. I am hoping that the rhythms of South Africa will be embraced by all races.

i absolutely love the stage production of the lion king....ive seen it twice already, and im planning to go again....i didn't think that they could pull of a cartoon movie, into an excellent production.
The Lion King trilogy is one of the greatest classics to have ever been made and to reach broadway...it's truly inspiring...if those fancy polititions (can't spell) want my advice then i would say watch the lion king...there are several moral views buried deep in it's symbolism.

I saw the Lion King on December 30, 2005. it was the BEST play i have ever seen in my whole life. everything was wonderful. i loved everybody in the play, but i especially loved Gugwana Dlamini(Rafiki) and Milan Barnes-Shuford(Young Nala.) Gugwana was histarical and had a beautiful voice, as did Milan. i loved you both so much, and i want to see this play over and over and over again. I love it!!!!!

Are you sure about who wrote the Lion Sleeps Tonight? I think it was written in the 1940s by its originator, South African Solomon Linda.
Linda, who died broke, still has familly chasing the royalties for this song...

The Lion King was my all-time favourite since I was 5, and still is! I'm a BIG fan of Hans Zimmer and especially his Lion King score, and own all the english official releases till ate, and even a very rare CD with all the score from the Lion King! It's so beautiful! I absolutely adore this movie; it has always been my favorite and always will be. This movie contains within it many life lessons to be learned as well as how to be true to yourself and always stand-up for what you believe in. This movie is simply magnificent, and in my opinion, the best movie ever.

Im 13 and I hadn't watched the lion king since I was 4 until my friend started singing the songs saying that she had seen. That night I watched it and let me say that it is the best film ever!!! I think the start of the film is particularly good, you don't find a start like that on any other film. It's perfect, just perfect!!! The songs are also fantastic as well. It appeals to everyone of all ages and it is masterfully put together. I love the lion king.
