Hi there, anyone reading this. At first I'd like to pay my compliments to the maker and maintainer of this page, Brian Tiemann. You've done a wonderful job: I'm impressed (not too difficult to impress me, but nevertheless). When I first saw "The Lion King" in the cinema, I was very impressed. It was the first Disney movie I had seen in years, but I just wanted to see it after reading about it in the "Donald Duck" magazine. After the intro (circle of life) I sat back with an open mouth and eyes as big as apples. The only thing that crossed my mind at that moment (apart from: WOW) was: "rewind please, let's see it again". After that I bought the CD of the motion picture (although I didn't own a CD-player yet). When I listened to the music I could see the movie in my imagination again. The Lion King was actually one of the few movies that could bring tears to my eyes because of the terrible death of Simba's father. (Titanic didn't succeed in doing that). For anyone still reading my comments about the movie: it's finished soon, don't worry. I personally would like to work at the Disney studios sometimes later. I like to draw, and when I see movies like The Lion King, I dream about seeing a movie that looks just that great, and knowing that you've drawn part of it. That must be a wonderful feeling. For now, I'd like to wish all the best to the thorough reader who is still reading this, and have a good time klicking around on this page or others. All I have to say is that even that I'm a bit big for the lion king (being aged 19) my kids enjoyed it. They would love to see another lion king movie. As soon as they found out that there was a new movie out they made me go out and buy even though they did not know what is was completey about.They watched it about 50 times. I really love the lion king and lion king2 because of all the original story lines, the characters and the music.I have got all of the sound tracks and i can't get the back ground tunes out of my head. I have all ways wanted to go to africa after i saw the movie twice. But i have all ways been a fan of the african wildlife.

Nice site! I couldn't have imagined there was so much when I searched the topic "Lion King". Especially this site is very, very nice!By the way, I liked our Dutch version more. Not that I am chauvinistic, on the contrary, the other Disney movies in our language weren't good (bad sound quality, things like that), but in this version, I think we have a better Zazu and especially a better Rafiki.But of course, my view isn't the only one.
